Harvest Festival and Haverhill Foodbank.
At our recent Harvest Festival parents kindly donated food and cakes to raise money for our local Foodbank. £376.18 was raised by selling cakes to pupils and staff at break-time. This was presented to Henry Wilson of Reach (Haverhill Foodbank) during a School Assembly together with the food which will be used to help families in crisis. Thank you to everyone for their support.
National Orienteering Score event at Heaton Park, Manchester.
We recently took 20 young orienteers to Manchester to compete in the National Score Event and had a very succesful day. The girls finished 2nd overall and the boys, having finished 1st on points, were unfortunately pushed down into 2nd on times. The pick of our runners was James Clarke who finished 2nd Nationally in his age group. Well done to all the children who took part.
