The Bridge
Welcome to The Bridge
The Bridge is in the heart of our School and this enables us to keep a close eye on the welfare and progress of our pupils. We are a bridge between them and their potential, the work they do in The Bridge and what they do in the classroom.
Bridge support is available in a variety of forms from 1-1 extra tuition with our SENCo to meeting with our School Counsellor. There is also in-class support and out-of-class support and extension work for talented and gifted children. The sessions last 35-40 minutes and the amount and type of support offered varies according to the needs of the individual
Our open-door policy ensures that all pupils can pop in whenever they need, whether it is for help with some prep, a chat about organising a piece of work or just a bonus biscuit; there is always someone about. Our daily Prep Club is a relaxed environment in which pupils can do their homework with the support of staff, ready to lend a hand.
