International Students

Cultural

With our multi-cultural student base, cultural diversity comes naturally to us all at Barnardiston Hall.  Whether it is ensuring our food is attractive to students of all nationalities (we have a cook who specialises in cooking Asian food for our boarders) or encouraging our students to join in with special days (Chinese New Year, the Three Kings Festival and Diwali), we aim to be inclusive.

We are keen to support the religious beliefs of any child and the School teaches the tenets of many different religions as well as those of people who have no religious affinity.

Our international students contribute greatly to our School and they are valued for the knowledge that they bring.  We encourage them to share with us their experiences of life in another country and we are keen to share ours with them.

For all of our children, we also underline shared values of being kind to others and polite, with the tenet of ‘Treat others as you wish to be treated yourself’.  Positive work ethic is also encouraged as is the ability to work and play together in a purposeful and happy environment.
