For parents who find balancing a demanding career, the daily school run, homework and after-school activities can sometimes become a ‘juggle-too-far’. It is for this reason that we have developed our unique ‘Junior Boarding Wing’.
Our Junior Boarders (aged 6-9 years) enjoy a ‘home from home’ with a team of caring staff. The staff take the children to School each morning (having checked that they have all the necessary kit for the day ahead in their bag) and then meet them again at the end of the day. They find out from their teachers how they got on, make a note of any outings coming up, parties to which they have been invited and spelling / homework they have to do. In the evenings, our Junior Boarders have supper with their staff in the warm and cosy House Kitchen (just as they would at home) and they then have time to play, prior to having showers and getting ready to be tucked up in bed with a bedtime story.
Our youngest children can be registered as weekly or full boarders and we also welcome ‘casual boarders’.
