Prep School

Religious Education encourages a reflective approach to living, a knowledge and understanding of religious beliefs and practices and the development of personal skills in forming reasoned opinions based on evidence and argument.  We help pupils develop knowledge and understanding of the traditions and relevance of Christianity and its impact on individuals and communities today. To understand our multi-faith society, pupils also learn about other religions such as Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism and Islam – both similarities and differences. Visits take place to Hindu temples, synagogues and local churches to enhance understanding. Pupils are taught to respect the opinions of others and show integrity and tolerance towards one another. We also promote and encourage children’s moral and spiritual awareness.
